Vehicle crane instructions
+The vehicle crane instructions 2016 have been prepared in cooperation between INFRA ry, Talonrakennusteollisuus ry, Rakennusliitto ry and Rakennuskonepälliköt ry. The instruction is based on the Occupational Safety Act and lower-level regulations issued pursuant to it, such as the Government Decree on the safety of construction work (VnA 205/2009) and the Government Decree on the safe use and inspection of work equipment (VnA 403/2008).
In addition, the guidelines take into account the basics of the vehicle crane driver's professional qualification, the instructions on the work of a subordinate/load fixer participating in lifting work and the general terms and conditions for renting vehicle cranes 2009, which were created as a joint development work of the industry.

The authors of the guide, Aleksi Auer, Erno Martin and Jekora Vornanen, have worked in the practical tasks of occupational safety in large projects, which are exceptionally high in Finnish construction.
A guide to working in heat
+Heat puts a strain on the body and reduces performance. At the same time, the risk of accidents increases. When working in the heat, it is important to take care of the body's fluid and salt balance, as well as recovery and rest. INFRA, Kattoliitto, Rakennusliitto and the Occupational Health and Safety Institute have jointly prepared guidelines to help you manage the disadvantages of hot work.
Quartz dust management
+The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health's website provides information on job-specific exposure to quartz dust and a comprehensive package of instructions for managing quartz dust on construction sites. The instructions are intended for workplaces and occupational health services.

Lifting work
+Tower cranes, vehicle cranes, loading cranes and concrete pumping trucks equipped with long booms may work at the construction site at the same time, which may cause dangerous situations. The planning of the work and the flow of information must be planned appropriately.
Dust risk assessment
+The control of construction dust must be included in the safety planning of the construction site and it must be reflected in the risk assessments of the different work phases. New guidelines have been prepared to help construction sites, which use exposure to quartz dust as an example. The same procedure is also suitable for other construction dusts. The guide has been prepared by Tapaturva Oy together with Talonrakennusindustri.
