Construction product (RTT)
Rakennustuoteollisuus RTT ry operates as an industry association of companies that manufacture construction products. Among the approximately 100 member companies of the association are our country's key manufacturers of construction products.
The construction product industry is divided into four divisions, which are the concrete, small house industry, building materials and steel structure divisions. RTT improves the operating conditions of its member companies by promoting their common interests in business policy, technical issues and labor market issues as well. RTT participates in collective bargaining and acts as a link between the membership.
RTT offers its members advice and training in, among other things, issues related to the regulation of the industry and employment matters. RTT's divisions handle product group-specific interest monitoring, promotion, development and standardization. The associations responsible for the operations of the divisions.
RTT is responsible on behalf of the entire RT union community for influencing building regulations, standardization, and environmental and energy issues in construction, as well as project-specific coordination of international issues. All RTT member companies are also members of Rakennusteollisuus RT through their industry association.

Companies operating in the construction product industry or a related field can apply to become a member of Rakennustuoteollisuus RTT ry. Member companies also belong to one of RTT's four divisions.
