Preventing fall hazards is one of the five essential safety practices in the construction industry. Safety starts with identifying and eliminating fall hazards during the design phase of the work. If the hazard cannot be eliminated, it must be controlled through technical means.

Together we ensure safety
- Identify tasks and work phases that involve the risk of falling and eliminate the risk as a priority.
- If the risk of falling cannot be eliminated, manage it with structural or technical solutions – personal protective equipment is a last resort.
- Also prevent objects and tools from falling.
- Make sure everyone knows how to use personal protective equipment.
Under my responsibility
- I recognize jobs that pose a risk of falling and avoid working at height if possible.
- I use fall protection equipment correctly and always check it before starting work.
- I will stop working insecurely – it is my right and my duty.
