- Ensure that machines are only used by competent and authorized persons.
- Make sure that the machines are properly maintained and inspected.

- When I approach a vehicle, I make eye contact with the driver.
- I only use a vehicle or machine that is suitable for the purpose and for which I have the license and expertise.
