At Work
Together with Katja, we run the Turku regional office and the everyday life of the Building Construction Industry's Southwest Finland and Satakunta districts. Our everyday life is built around advising member companies, collaborating with stakeholders and educational institutions, and other advocacy work.

At the Site
I worked for the City of Turku for 10 years (Building/Public Utilities) and was involved in dozens of new and renovation projects, learning about municipal decision-making, the life cycle of a construction project, and cooperation with various stakeholders in construction. After that, I spent 16 years at Hartela, where I got involved in real estate development projects, the largest of which were Skanssi Shopping Center and Logomo in Turku. I also got to see the group as a whole in a broad way, from management team work to everyday life on construction sites. Important topics for me are interactive communication, occupational safety, the attractiveness of the industry, strategy, and responsibility.

My free time
I am athletic and ball sports are close to my heart. I also do small-scale team coaching for sports teams. I am interested in culture in many forms. I go out with my dog every day and enjoy walking in nature, also as a hunting hobby. I am a typical generalist and I think that I always have the opportunity to learn something new.
