A new lawyer joins the legal team of the building construction industry and a competence developer for Rakennusmedia

Elina Vilponen has started as a lawyer at the Finnish Building Construction Industry Association. He joins RT from the Finnish Tenants Association, where he has worked as a lawyer, focusing particularly on real estate law. His areas of expertise have included legal issues related to housing, such as housing association matters, rental of residential and commercial premises, and housing and real estate transactions. 

Elina works in the economic policy team, or EPO. Elina's duties include advising members on the Housing Transactions Act, the Housing Companies Act and the Procurement Act. In addition, her duties include monitoring legislative projects in the field, preparing member newsletters and various model documents, and member training.

Juha Piiroinen has started as a competence developer at Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy. Juha has extensive experience in the development and production of digital learning and communication solutions, in addition to which he is familiar with functional and experiential learning methods. 

Juha has previously worked at KONE Oy, where he worked as a trainer and training planner. At KONE Oy, Juha was responsible for developing and training digital learning solutions, online courses and blended learning globally at the KONE Training Center.
