Lattian- ja seinenpövningliitto ry is an industry association of manufacturers and importers of materials used in floor and wall coverings, as well as companies that install these products.
The Floor and Wall Covering Association is a member association of Rakennusteollisuus RT ry and the Finnish Confederation of Business and Industry EK. Together with Pintaurakoitsijat ry and Kattoliitto ry, the Floor and Wall Covering Association forms the Surface Industry representing RT's special contractors.
The purpose of the association is to improve the industry's operating conditions and produce usable, durable and beautiful floor and wall surfaces for Finnish interior decoration. The organizational cooperation of the industry's specialized shops in the union has continued for more than 40 years. Today, the association includes shops that comprehensively contract the fastening of pavements and material suppliers in the field.
The Floor and Wall Covering Association concludes the industry's national collective agreement with the employee organization and is responsible for the working conditions and their development on the employer's side.
The Floor and Wall Covering Association works closely with vocational schools in the field to develop training.
