A new board of directors has been elected for Talteka for the 2023 season, which will begin its operations at the beginning of January. The CEO of Dahl Suomi Oy was elected as the new chairman Jari Mikkonen.
Mikkonen feels that the 2018 merger of Talotekniikkateollisuus ry and the LVI-teknis trade association (LVI-TEK) has borne good fruit, and the resulting Talteka has found a good operating model that benefits both members and the entire industry.
"The operation has become established and the number of members of the association has grown steadily. It's very interesting to be involved in influencing common issues in the building engineering industry," says Mikkonen.
The board has a comprehensive and balanced representation of both industry and commerce, as well as the wide-ranging product segments of the membership.
"The energy crisis and the green transition continue to emphasize the importance of building technology in construction. A good indoor environment, realized in a sustainable way, requires high-quality building technology solutions and innovations", states Talteka's CEO Ilkka Salo.
