Housing and transport infrastructure are the talk of the town at SuomiAreena

The social debate mega-event SuomiAreena will take place this year from 15 to 19. July in Pori. RT and some of its industry associations and members are once again involved in bringing up important themes in the discussion.

Thursday, July 18 offers the "Housing arena" and intelligence for improving the road network:

How can you live better, more affordably and more sustainably?

Thursday 18.7. at 11.30-12.30, Puuvilla shopping center, Siltapuistokatu 14

The discussion can also be watched live and as a recording after the event on MTV Katsomo at www.katsomo.fi/#!/jakso/1114348.

The word is waved and duels are fought about where and how Finns want to live. In the discussion, spacious rural living and dense urban living, small houses and apartment buildings, wishes and compromises, images and facts meet. How can consumers influence the price of housing and emissions with their choices - what about politicians or companies in the industry?

An interesting discussion is guaranteed by a strong line-up of speakers: Eeva Kalli, Juuso Hietanen, Seppo Junnila, Tuuli Kaskinen and Tuija Schmidt, as well as host Nina Rahkola, known from Maikkar.

The discussion is organized in cooperation between Betoni ja muuratut sukreten, Bonava Suomi Oy, Rakennusteollisuus RT and Pientaloteolluus PTT ry.

Right after, there will be another housing-related discussion at the same place, organized by the Finnish Association of Real Estate Agents, the Finnish Association of Residential Real Estate Agents, the Finnish Realtors SKVL ry and the Finnish Landlords Association:

It's now the housing market - Is Finland getting empty?

Thursday 18.7. at 13.00-14.00, Puuvilla shopping center, Siltapuistokatu 14

You can also follow and comment on the most relevant incidents of housing discussions with the hashtags #asumisenareena #suomiareena on Twitter.

At the end of the afternoon, there will be a discussion about the condition of the road network, because of the people:

Pitch or bits? - Can the road network repair debt be paid intelligently?

Thursday 18.7. at 16.00:17.00-XNUMX:XNUMX, Eetunaukio stage, Itäpuisto

What kind of price do businesses and private citizens pay for roads in poor condition? How do Europe's longest vehicle combinations affect the road? And what role can smart solutions play in improving the road network? The representatives of road freight transport, the infrastructure industry and road owners are challenging the decision-makers to define the future of our national asset, the road.

The discussion is held by the wise five: Suna Kymäläinen, Iiro Lehtonen, Eetu Pilli-Sihvola, Nina Raitanen and Paavo Syrjö. Hosted by journalist Markus Liimatainen.

The discussion is jointly organized by INFRA ry and Rakennusteollisuus RT ry and Suomen Kuljetus ja Logistiikka SKAL ry and Suomen Tieyhdistys ry.
