The bricklaying skills competition, which was part of the traditions of the Turku construction fair, was renewed this year. Instead of the yard grill familiar from previous years, this time the competition task was tiling.
A tiling competition for construction students was organized on February 9 in conjunction with the Turku Rakenna & Sisusta fair. The competition involved tiling work, the subject of which was the west end of Turku Castle: 
The time to do the competition work was 3½ hours, including one break.
Ghorbani Mahmoud from the Turku Vocational Institute won the even and high-level competition.
