INFRA ry's statement on the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency's draft regulation on the delivery of online data to the location information service

INFRA ry advocates the "one-stop shop" principle and considers it worthwhile to minimize excavation damage to cables and other networks. The easier it is for contractors to get information about obstacles and cables in the excavation area, the less damage will occur.

In INFRA's view, it would be necessary to bring the sufficient level of accuracy and interoperability of the data delivered to the centralized information point (location information service, STP) to the level where the planning of cabling and construction projects and practical site operations can be carried out safely and without damaging the network owners' cables.
