Companies operating in the construction product industry or a related field can apply to become a member of Rakennustuoteollisuus RTT ry. The board of RTT decides on acceptance as a member.
Member companies also belong to one of RTT's divisions: the concrete, small house industry or building materials division. RTT members can be business political members and/or TES members, which are companies belonging to the stone-based construction product industry.

Membership fees are decided annually at RTT's autumn union meeting and are based on the processing value of the member's production and the salaries paid by TES members. In its first year of membership, a new member company pays the membership fee only for the months in which it has belonged to the association.
Upon becoming a member, the company undertakes to comply with the industry's collective agreements (TES members) and the rules of the organizations, as well as the decisions, instructions and regulations made within the framework of the rules.
