We have gathered on this page the technical committees of the European standardization organization CEN, which are responsible for the Construction Product Industry RTT, as well as the global ISO committees.
European standardization (EN)
The European standardization organization CEN prepares European EN standards. About 90 of its technical committees (CEN/TC) prepare EN standards for the construction sector.
The committees' work list includes harmonized product standards leading to CE marking, the so-called normal product standards, standards supplementing product standards, classification standards, testing standards, work performance standards and design standards (e.g. Eurocodes for structural dimensioning of structures).
The CEN technical committees responsible for the building product industry RTT are listed below. Almost all of them have an active standardization group in operation. If there is no standardization group, it is possible to monitor the committee through a so-called monitoring service.

Global standardization (ISO)
The international standardization organization ISO prepares global ISO standards. They aim to facilitate international trade and create common global rules of the game.
The so-called agreement between the European standardization organization CEN and ISO In accordance with the Vienna agreement, many ISO standards are published either as they are or with minor changes also as European EN standards.
The ISO technical committees responsible for the building product industry RTT are listed below. RTT actively follows some of ISO's committees, being a P member, in which case standard proposals are commented on and votes are answered. In some of ISO's committees, active influence on standardization has not been considered necessary, and one participates in them as an O member, in which case they only monitor the preparation of standards.
