Name-calling, belittling or suggestive speech are not part of a safe work community, but they also occur in the construction industry. The training provides practical ways to identify and combat inappropriate treatment, as well as gender-based and sexual harassment. The goal is for everyone to know what to do when the line is crossed.

There are three training courses, and they are targeted according to the job role:
- Tuesday, November 17th, 1:00 PM-2:00 PM for supervisors, management and human resources
- Wednesday, December 9th, 10:00-11:00 for elected officials and occupational safety and health representatives
- Thursday, December 10th, 10:00-11:00 for white-collar workers and all those working in the construction industry
The trainers are the Finnish Executive Director of the UN Women, the UN gender equality organization. Jaana Hirskangas and Head of Communications and Advocacy Emma WinieckiUN Women Finland has trained dozens of Finnish organizations on preventing and responding to sexual harassment, and over 400 organizations on equality issues in the workplace.
The trainings are part of the Fair Labor project, a joint project of the entire construction industry, which is supported by the Finnish Construction Industry Association RT, the Finnish Construction Federation, Pro, RIL, RKL, RIA and Safa, as well as the Finnish Electricity Federation, STTA and STUL. We want to build a work culture where everyone is treated equally and fairly. Let's put a stop to discrimination, harassment and inappropriate treatment together!
