The importance of renovation construction is growing rapidly as the building stock ages and new energy efficiency requirements arise. Project management still faces significant challenges, particularly in terms of the dispersion of responsibilities and the fragmentation of overall management.

The guide is the first concrete measure in a broader Managing procurement, design and production planning for the renovation project -joint project, which is being implemented in collaboration with members of Rakli, RT, SKOL and ATL. The joint project aims to develop the systemic development of renovation construction and is planned to be implemented in three phases.
The first phase of the guide is based on extensive interview and workshop work involving clients, designers and contractors. The aim has been to identify key bottlenecks in projects and produce practical solutions and tips for use across the industry.
