By committing to the Circular Economy Green Deal, a construction company is signaling to partners and clients that they are involved in building a circular economy society. The more companies commit, the more clearly we will also demonstrate that the industry can advance circular economy goals without ever-increasing regulation.

Tasks of the participating company
The company committed to the deal promises in 2026…
- to develop circular economy support sustainable procurement criteria and put them into use
- start collecting information on the utilization rate of facilities and equipment and sets a goal based on the information that leads to more efficient use
- Start collecting information and setting a goal based on it the company's circular economy degree.
The contact person indicated on the form will receive an invitation to a sparring clinic, where we will help you get started with each of the three points by holding your hand. The clinics will also be announced in newsletters and on the rt.fi website. If you are unable to attend, you can watch the session afterwards from the recording.
Reporting will be annual in the future.
Companies that have signed a Green Deal must report on their progress for the first time in February 2027. The reporting covers the three areas of the deal and is done using RT's easy-to-use Reitti tool, for which we provide training.
In the future, reporting will be done annually until 2030. The reports will be reviewed statistically at the industry level. The information of individual companies will not be reviewed, shared or published. The company can still use its information not only to develop its operations, but also as part of its sustainability reporting.
The names of companies that have committed to the circular economy green deal by 30 April 2026 will be published on rt.fi and during RT's traditional spring news bulletins. The companies will also receive the We're Involved logo to use in their own communications and marketing.
