The first-ever startup event organized by RT brought together the industry's most innovative startups, companies, and experts to discuss future solutions and accelerate the adoption of new innovations.
The Latest Startup Innovations in Construction event showcased cutting-edge technologies and services that promise to streamline construction processes, promote digitalization, and bring sustainable growth to the entire industry. At the same time, participants had the opportunity to hear inspiring expert talks and network with industry players.
RT's Development Director Antti Aaltonen emphasized in his opening speech that the renewal of the industry requires the courage to experiment and adopt new technologies. “Startup cooperation is key if we want to develop the industry and accelerate growth,” Aaltonen emphasized.
The event was part of Smart Business, Big Impact initiative, which aims to deepen cooperation between startups and large companies. The event was organized in collaboration with KIRAHub, the KIRA growth program and Urban Tech Helsinki.
"The positive feedback and active discussion among participants showed that the construction industry is ready to utilize solutions developed by startups. With the success of the event, similar events are expected in the future," says Aaltonen.
