Good construction quality, sustainable construction, good training or occupational safety are not new things for builders. They have been important goals for decades, according to the new book creating the history of the Inner Finland district of the building construction industry.
Builders of the future, Siša-Suomen Piiri ry of the building construction industry 1970–2020 -book creates an interesting overview of the changes in the everyday life of builders in our country. Construction has always been part of social change, and many books and stories reflect that. A surprising number of things that seem new today were already relevant decades ago.

The most important thing is working together
At the end of the book, a look to the future is also created. A lot of attention is paid to sustainable construction and responsibility when construction is focused on growth centers and small apartments. Digital solutions are developing and the use of prefabricated parts in buildings is increasing, the book states. The book "Future builders" has been published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the District of Talonrakennusindustriy Sisä-Suomen Piiri. The stages of the association have been written down twice before, and traditional, chronologically advancing history is no longer done. The builders of the future focuses on the events of the last decade and, above all, on the operational priorities and the changes that have taken place in them.
