The results of the skills needs assessment commissioned by the Construction Industry RT were announced on 29.10.2021 October XNUMX.
"Work tasks in the construction industry are becoming more and more interesting and versatile, and wages have recently increased the most in the construction industry," says the social relations manager responsible for labor and education policy at Rakennusteollisuus RT Lauri Pakkanen. Nevertheless, the industry is struggling with many challenges when it comes to the availability of skilled labor.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Labor and Economy, RT made a report on the skills needs of the construction industry. The survey carried out by Innolink Research Oy was accompanied by a survey, which was answered by 459 representatives of companies in the construction industry from 382 companies.
