INFRA's statement on the government's proposal to Parliament for a law on the location information of underground network infrastructure

INFRA ry supports a centralized location information service. Information from all network operators must be available in one place so that excavation work can be carried out without damage and with high quality. Anyone undertaking excavation work must be able to find out what cables and other underground infrastructure are in the work area. When creating and using a centralized service, care must be taken to ensure that the costs for the excavator are reasonable or that use is free of charge. The costs must mainly be allocated to the network operators.
