Posters

The topics of the posters are the safety of lifting work, tying down the load and general instructions for work safety.

You can print posters for your own use, for example, with an A3 color printer, or you can print them digitally.

Clear hand signals and orthodox tying of the load

One of the posters focuses on the safety of guiding the lifting work and the other on the orthodox tying of the load.

There is a danger of an accident in lifting work, and the dangers must always be assessed. A separate lifting work plan must be drawn up for difficult lifts. In safe lifting, the load is not lifted over people and there is no movement in the lifting area. The cooperation between the subordinate and the driver works when the operating methods are mutually agreed upon and mutual trust works.

The damage caused by a falling load cannot be predicted, so special attention must be paid to tying down and lifting the load. The lifting area must be delimited either by a barrier or access control. The load must always be balanced and tied with care. It cannot be overemphasized that the burden must never be lifted over people.

As of March 1.3.2020, 25, the employer's written permission has been required from load fixers (the person who fixes the load to the crane intended for installation use). The operator of a link crane (a tower crane of up to XNUMX ton meters) has been required to have written permission from the employer and, in addition, training to perform the work.
