Employer's written permissions
+The employer's written permission is required for the following jobs:
- Attaching the load to the installation crane
- Using a forklift (often a reacher at the site).
- Controlling the personal lift
- Transporting a tower crane with a maximum load torque of 25 ton meters.
- Before granting the permit, the employer must ensure that the employee has sufficient ability and skill for the aforementioned tasks. Transporting a tower crane with a maximum capacity of 25 tonne meters also always requires training for the task.
Education as well. for using the crane as well as for working with subordinates is available from several different parties. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration publishes those registered there on its website trainers' contact information.
The work subcommittee of the Finnish Center for Construction Industries has produced ready-made sample templates for the written permits required by regulations to help employers. Employers may have different needs and requirements regarding permits, in which case it is necessary to supplement the permits according to each individual's needs. You can use the sample templates here: Use permit templates for construction sites.

Posters
The topics of the posters are the safety of lifting work, tying down the load and general instructions for work safety.
You can print posters for your own use, for example, with an A3 color printer, or you can print them digitally.
Clear hand signals and orthodox tying of the load
One of the posters focuses on the safety of guiding the lifting work and the other on the orthodox tying of the load.
There is a danger of an accident in lifting work, and the dangers must always be assessed. A separate lifting work plan must be drawn up for difficult lifts. In safe lifting, the load is not lifted over people and there is no movement in the lifting area. The cooperation between the subordinate and the driver works when the operating methods are mutually agreed upon and mutual trust works.
The damage caused by a falling load cannot be predicted, so special attention must be paid to tying down and lifting the load. The lifting area must be delimited either by a barrier or access control. The load must always be balanced and tied with care. It cannot be overemphasized that the burden must never be lifted over people.
As of March 1.3.2020, 25, the employer's written permission has been required from load fixers (the person who fixes the load to the crane intended for installation use). The operator of a link crane (a tower crane of up to XNUMX ton meters) has been required to have written permission from the employer and, in addition, training to perform the work.
Print with your own printer and view the posters in large size (if possible choose A3 and color printing):
