At Work

I am responsible for maintaining RT's public relations and developing advocacy and lobbying both domestically and in the EU. I am a member of the management team, leading the advocacy and lobbying team. Together with the team and other experts, we support the entire RT union family in influencing and creating connections with various decision-makers. I am RT's representative in the Green Growth influence group of the Finnish Confederation of Trade Unions.

At the Site

Construction affects all social decision-makers equally. In lobbying situations, decision-makers can ask a wide variety of questions about the topic, which shows how widely construction is present in everyone's thoughts. I myself noticed, at least in connection with plumbing renovations or cottage construction projects, how much construction matters to everyday life and its quality.

In my free time

The most concrete counterbalance to white-collar work is a genuine steamship on Lake Saimaa that I own with my fellow students. With the original steam technology, you can work an unlimited number of hours. And there are no unlimited hours, our small children take care of that. If there is still time left, it is filled with friends and various cultural activities, especially Finnish contemporary art.
