At Pentti Hämeenaho, the owners, management and staff are committed to responsible practices. “We will make our promises come true,” the company promises.

Pentti Hämeenaho Oy's business is divided into two lines of business: infrastructure construction and factory services.
Infrastructure construction covers earthworks and aggregate services as well as infrastructure construction projects.
Factory services focus on the processing of industrial production and material flows and related services.
"We actively monitor the development of legislation, assess changes in the operating environment and the direction the world is heading. The goal is continuous development and growth. We have also expanded to Sweden by establishing a subsidiary, Hämeenaho Sverige Oy," says Jari Fashion, one of the owners.
Award for results and initiatives
"We find our competitive advantage in safety and our own responsible work. For us, safety means, among other things, that we invest in the well-being of our personnel and good management. We have strengthened management and further increased, among other things, supervisor and manager training," Muotio continues.
The management does not hide: “We, the owners of the company, are strongly involved in the company’s everyday life.”
Hämeenaho has also always rewarded good results and initiatives. A performance bonus system is under development.
The focus on personnel and their expertise is also evident: Hämeenaho's experts are committed and have been with the company for a long time, some even in their second generation.
INFRA and RT support
Pentti Hämeenaho has utilized the services of INFRA and the Finnish Construction Industry Association (RT) to support development, especially in responsibility work.
The staff has participated in member training and received help from the member services on the RT and INFRA websites.
“Our sustainability director was involved a few years ago when RT's groundbreaking sustainability program was created. The program and its measures also serve as inspiration for the development of the company's own operations.”
In employment matters, the company has utilized the expertise of both INFRA's central union experts and its own local executive director.
“INFRA and RT’s advocacy, legal and employment services are really important to us.”
